2025-2026 Football NSW Premier League Division 1 | CURRENT SEASON UPDATES
2024-2025 Season Results
It became apparent early in the season that, for the first time in three years, we would not be at risk of relegation. The club had made a major move by bringing in Mel Kieth, a superstar coach, to lead the U17 girls and women’s teams.
However, the road wasn’t entirely smooth. We lost three key players from our Youth team, creating challenges. On the bright side, we secured a major win with the recruitment of Steven Knight as the U14 coach. However, our U14 squad was largely composed of 13-year-olds, making the competition even tougher.
As the season progressed, the U17s, women’s team, and U14s all emerged as serious title contenders. In the end, the U14s were leading with just a minute to go but suffered a heartbreaking loss in the semifinals. The U17s also fell short in their crucial match.

2023-2024 Season Results
This was the closest competition in history. It became clear that the club facing relegation would be either Hakoah, Quake, or the Boomerangs. Adding to the drama, a doubleheader weekend was scheduled late in the season, increasing the pressure as all clubs lost players due to outdoor game conflicts.
With four rounds remaining, the bottom clubs were neck and neck. Each team raised its game, winning matches they had no right to win. Ultimately, it all came down to the final game of the season—a delayed match between the Mascot Vipers women and the Quake women. In an intensely tight contest, the Vipers emerged victorious, sealing Quake’s fate as they were relegated. Hakoah, meanwhile, had survived another season.
The highlight of the season came in the finals. Our men’s team, finishing third, faced the formidable Mascot Vipers. After overcoming them, we advanced to the Grand Final against Mountain Majik. Although we never held the lead, we fought back time and again. The match was ultimately decided by a penalty shootout. Our goalkeeper made a statement by saving a penalty from a Futsalroo and then secured victory with one final, match-winning save.

2022-2023 Season Results
The first season back from COVID-19 proved to be a major challenge. While our 14 boys and senior teams found success, we struggled to secure points in the 15, 16, and 17-year-old divisions. In fact, for the first time in our history, one of our teams finished the season without a single point.
We only secured our place in the Premier League in a decisive match against the other club facing relegation. On that day, the futsal gods smiled upon us—every close game fell in our favor.
In the finals, our youth and women’s teams were eliminated in penalty shootouts, while our men’s team fell just one goal short. Interestingly, every team that defeated us that day went on to win the Grand Final the following week.

2018-2019 Season Results
The 2018-2019 Season was by many measures our most successful year ever. Having been promoted to the highest division of the Football NSW competition it was expected that the Club would struggle against the other Clubs. The highlight for the Club was beating the incredibly powerful Mountain Magic Club in the second round. It won 5 games drew one and lost one. Its under 15 girls won their age group. A feat not achieved by any newly promoted Club. In the end the Club came fifth missing out on creating history by a single game. No newly promoted team had ever come fourth in its first year. Three of seven teams made the finals.

2017-2018 Season Results
The 2017 /2018 Season was by many measures our most successful year ever. The Club got promoted to the highest division of the Football NSW competition. It’s players made up every player bar one in the Australian Maccabiah men’s Futsal team that won silver in Israel (See amazing teams). We also won four out of the nine Most Valuable Player’s (MVP’s) in the competition (see Honours) and five out of the nine Most Valuable Goal Keepers (see Honours). The highlight for the Club though, was definitely being promoted into the first division. It did this, not because we created more winning teams, in fact this year we only had one team win its competition (women) and one team win the finals (U14’s). This was our worst result in three years. What we had though, was every team being competitive. Eight of nine teams made the finals and the one that didn’t, missed out only by a single point.

2015-2016 Season Results
The 2015/ 2016 Season had the potential to be one of our best seasons ever. Our men’s team were returning from Berlin as runners up in the European Maccabiah games and we had had a successful 2014/2015 season.

2014-2015 Season Results
The 2014/ 2015 Season had 13 Clubs competing in the State League Futsal competition. This was the second division of the competition. We had our Australian Futsalroos coming back to the Club and we had also picked up a great under 12’s team from the Hakoah outdoor Club. Our under 13 girls surprised us as without a keeper that manged to win the competition. We were right in the battle for promotion up until the last round where we had to win 6 out of 9 games against the South Coast Taipans. Unfortunately we only won three games. Promotion would have to wait for another year. Fortunately we chose this year to perform well as football NSW decided to split the State League into two. One would be called Premier League two and one would be state league. The results in this year would determine which competition we would play in next year.
